The low-carbon transition at the international level
On the occasion of ABC’s 10th anniversary, we had the pleasure to welcome four transition experts and hear their standpoint.
Although accelerating the transition in France is clearly a major challenge, doing so internationally is equally crucial. This is why, for many years, ABC has been deploying its know-how and experience with partners all over the world.
This session was an opportunity to hear from international partners and their interest on the development of carbon databases and tools adapted to their own context.
Meet our four experts:
-Philippe Masset’ speaks about the ADEME the French Agency for Ecological Transition, perspective on how to access data and build carbon databases and the need to increase the skills of stakeholders in such areas.
- Anna Creti discusses her economic perspective on how to tackle such challenges and gives her intake on the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism.
- Nasma Jrondi representing The Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection shares the Moroccan experience of updating their carbon database.
-Lastly, Igor Cornet representing IMPAKT gave his insight regarding the current on-going work in Romania.
The focus here was to have a common constructive mission to build capacity and transfer expertise internationally.
